About Us

Ma Maison en Provence was established in 1996 by Jean-Louis Comtat and partner Margaret Laurence. Jean-Louis having been born in Marseille spent most of his early life in Provence. In the mid 90's he travelled all through the regions of Provence and sourced many beautiful decorative ceramics and glazed dinnerware from remote villages specialising in provencial pottery and the traditional anduze pots. We also found a beautiful range of 100% natural bodycare products from Lothantique and Amélie et Mélanie. We filled a container and shipped all of these products back along with many other french homewares. In 1996 we opened our first retail shop and have been wholesaling to other retailers for almost 12 years. All of our products are exclusive to Ma Maison en Provence.
